Pastor Jay Carney
Pastor Jay and his wife, Demetra, were elected senior pastor of FPC of Tupelo in December of 2016. Prior to their election, Pastor Jay has served in various ministry capacities. He is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Construction Engineering Technology and also a Masters in Business. He is the proud father of Jayda, James, & Juliana. They are his greatest source of joy. He enjoys hunting with his son, and also playing basketball, racketball, and golf. He enjoys going on dates with his wife and girls.
Demetra Carney
Demetra is the Worship Leader. She also served as the MS All-State Youth Choir Director. She spent 15 years as Worship Leader at Woodlawn in Columbia, MS. She attended Jackson College of Ministries and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music. She owns a shop called Conspicious in “the Joyful Creations Market.” She is married to the love of her life, Jay and together they have three wonderful children, Jayda, James, and Juliana.
