OUR Pastor
Pastor Jay has been lead pastor since 2016 and couldn’t be more honored to be a part of Life at Tupelo. He earned degrees in Construction Engineering Technology and an MBA from the University of Southern Mississippi. This launched a career as an executive for a large construction firm . In the midst of a thriving career, he felt God calling him to walk away and trust Him as he gave up his career and moved into ministry. He is passionate about teaching the Bible, developing leaders, and equipping other followers of Jesus to reach those who are close to them but far from God.
He is the proud father of Jayda, James, & Juliana. They are his greatest source of joy. In his personal time he enjoys hunting with his son, and also playing basketball, racketball, golf, and going on dates with his wife and girls.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe the question the people asked Peter on the Day of Pentecost is the question of every heart, “What must we do?” The answer Peter gave is the answer for everyone, everywhere. “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you and your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. Acts 2:38-39
